Air Force Airman Alex P. New recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. New completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies.
He also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
A 2009 graduate of Anderson High School, New is the son of Dodie Hall of Anderson.
