West Valley will be headed to Red Bluff High School on Saturday for the Northern Section volleyball final.
After hosting a tough game against Gridley (19-13) on Tuesday night, West Valley (33-8) was able to push through for the win, sweeping the match 25-19, 25-14, 25-17.
The Eagles will be appearing in their sixth straight section final and their seventh over the course of the past eight years. They have also ensured a spot in the Northern California Championships.
Paige Adkins posted 15 kills during the match, Megan Bowen lead with 25 digs, followed by Amy Westaby 23 digs. Ashley Vitellaro had 10 kills and three blocks.
West Valley will face off against Sutter for the section title on Saturday at Red Bluff High School at 3 p.m.
