Donald S. Hasshaw, 84, of Happy Valley, CA died Nov. 7, 2011, at Sierra Oaks nursing home in Redding.

Services were to be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at Veterans Cemetery, Igo, CA.

Dean Louis Ellena

Dean Louis Ellena, age 71, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 in Redding. Dean lived most of his life in Anderson in the home he built himself. He worked for Kimberly-Clark until 1964 when he was involved in a debilitating auto/train collision. At his request, no service will be held.

William James Whitman

William James Whitman, 65, of Anderson died Nov. 15 in Meeker, Colo. Arrangements are pending at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Palo Cedro (547-4444).

Rosie Rupp, 76, of Anderson died Friday, Nov. 18, at Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding. Arrangements are pending at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding (243-1525).

Cora Belle Padgett McCaleb

Cora Belle Padgett McCaleb, 87, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday Nov. 19, 2011. She and Ashley “Mac” McCaleb were married in 1945. They founded Shasta Pump and Supply in Anderson and later owned Gas Point Store and Service Station in Cottonwood.
