Robert Epperson

Mr. Epperson died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at his residence after a short illness. Services for Robert Edward Epperson, 72, of Anderson will be held at 2 PM at the Igo Veterans’ Cemetery Friday, December 30, 2011. Born February 17, 1939 in Waterloo, IA. Survivors include daughters Debbie Setere of Sherwood, OR, Christine McCandless of Redding, CA and stepdaughter Deanne Simmons of NV; son Rick Epperson of Big Bend, CA and stepsons Doug Manfull of OK, Dan Manfull of FL and Dave Manfull of Wilsonville, OR, brothers Jack Epperson, Don Epperson, Danny Epperson, David Epperson and Jimmy Epperson, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Leonard LeRoy Burwell

Leonard LeRoy Burwell was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 9, 1926 and passed peacefully away on December 17, 2011 after a short illness. Leonard served 30 years as a public school teacher in Southern California before retiring and moving to Cottonwood, CA in 1992. He continued substitute teaching in the area until the age of 80. He is survived by his wife Margery Burwell of Cottonwood, a son, Steve Burwell of Frisco, TX, and three daughters - Judy Bohlin of Cottonwood, Becky Ashley of Perris, CA, and Pamela Fenderson of Glendale, AZ. His legacy continues in the lives of 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Family and friends celebrated his life in a service at Redding First Church of the Nazarene on December 23.
