A 40-year-old parolee remained today in Tehama County jail after being arrested on Jan. 13 for failing to register as a sex offender, deputies said.

Dwayne Lawrence Dillman, who had resided in Redding, allegedly failed to register with authorities as a sex offender after moving from Shasta County to the Bowman Road area of Cottonwood, deputies said. Deputies said he was being held in jail without bail due to a parole hold.
