Twenty-eight high schools attended the Corning Invitational Wrestling Tournament on Saturday.
Anderson Coach Don Williams said the Cub wrestlers took second place in the Corning tourney. Orland placed first.
“This tournament gave us a good look at where some of our competition is at as we prepare for the post season tournaments coming up in February,” said Williams. “Now we know exactly what we need to work on to get ready.”
Anderson seniors Alek Miller (126) and Jose Raya (132) placed second in their respective weight classes.
Senior teammates Spencer Larsen (138) and Bryan Cabral (160) took home third place finishes in their weight classes.

The Eagles’ Marc McMahon earned a fifth place finish at 122 pounds.
